cgR – Episode #000 – “Great Expectations”

Posted by admin in Podcasts, Rated "A"
“Hello people… uh.. Welcome to.. I guess, Episode 0 of the cg Roundup podcast. Um..”

Most places start at Episode 1, but there needs to be some setup, so this is Episode 0 (I wish Star Wars had an Episode 0 to explain everything instead of reading that warped text scrolling up the screen). So in this Episode, I talk about the way we will present the show or maybe more importantly how we wont be presenting the show.

Although it wasn’t discussed in the show, i think the subject of main discussion is fairly obvious.

I make some apologies in advanced, letting everyone know that im not a “web guy” and this is very much a work in progress. Issues like Length, Size, Compression, Formats, Feeds etc if you any Problems/Sugestions/Ideas let me know either via the comments or email (Contact Page).

This episode is rated:    Rated A

I have been looking for a CG (yes 2d and 3d) podcast for a while. I am a 3d/motion graphics freelancer, in Chicago. I love your explanation of what to expect, and i think its all great! I look forward to adding you to my iTunes downloads.

    Best wishes for your podcast,
    Duff

    Hey there Ryan.

Thanks for the kind words. Right now we aren’t currently available on iTunes. Currently we are just seeing how we go and if more and more people request that we be part of the service then we will make the extra effort. But the show can be easily obtainable via certain low taxing programs like Juice.

As for the explanation, i hoped to cover all the bases, but the chances either some wont hear this episode, or will hear and still be disappointed or neither and just stop listening.

But if people still want to complain I wont stop them. :)
